¶ Shopify
To connect to Retael we will create a Custom App in Shopify. Our platform is not a public app in the Shopify App Marketplace.
¶ Let's connect
- Login to your Shopify shop
- Click
Apps
- Click
Apps and sales channel settings
- Click
Develop Apps
- Click
Create an App
- Provide a name for the custom app, e.g.
Retael, and confirmCreate app
- Click
Configure Admin API Scopes
- Search and select the following resources

- In the Selected selection, the summary should look like this. Click
Save
- Click
Install App
- Confirm
Install
- Click
Reveal token onceand Copy the key
- Open your Retael.com backoffice and navigate to Ecommerce platforms
- And copy paste the
tokeninto the acces token field
- Enter your
Shop Address, your shop address can be found in Shopify underSettings.
IMPORTANT! your address should contain
.myshopify.comAny other domain may result in failing api behaviour
- Click
Connect, your shop should now be connected! - Navigate to Products in the backoffice, you should now see your products being loaded from Shopify
