¶ Merchants
When your marketplace is setup, you can start onboarding new merchants. When a new merchant is onboarded his product selection becomes available to you. Both you and the merchant can start adding products to collections that you have defined.
The platform makes sure that the merchant's connected shop stays synchonized. This means new products might become available after a sync, and existing products are updated if there were any changes in for instance the price, name or even images.
For a shopper to be able to buy products from your marketplace they always first need to be added to a collection and have the status Published
¶ Merchant onboarding
Sellers can have their shops running on a variety of different systems. Here is a list of the most common ecommerce solutions:

We are always looking to expand and build new integrations. However we prioritize new integrations as they become relevant when a sufficient number of merchants is in need of such an integration. So please contact us if you have merchants that are currently not yet supported.
These are the steps you need to perform to onboard a new merchant:
- Approach a seller and see if they are interested in selling with you.
- Setup a contract with the seller and include a reference to our Merchant General Terms.
- Seller has to create a Retael account here. Alternatively use the
Invitebutton from the main menu in your account to send an automated email. - Seller can follow the technical onboarding procedure in the Documentation
- If the technical onboarding is not going as expected and you are running into issues, a video meeting can be booked with us. We will assist in the onboarding process and fix any bugs that may have appeared.
- In the final technical onboarding step the seller requests access to your marketplace
- Sign in and goto Menu > My Marketplace > Requests, approve or decline the merchant request
- The seller can now finalize the Know-Your-Customer procedure with the payment provider to be able to receive payouts.
- Products of the merchant can now be added to your collections and become available for sale.

¶ View merchant performance
You can review your merchant's performance at any time.
- Navigate to Menu > My Marketplace > Merchants
- Click on the Seller you are interested in
- The order graph will show you how many orders have been sold recently
